Wendy Rudder reading 'Sunday, the Collector's Edition'
Wendy just completed her first Level II course online, where this poem began as an exercise. Born in Trinidad and raised in Barbados, Wendy has lived in many different countries but currently calls the Netherlands home. She works as a consultant helping companies define and implement digital strategies.

Shalmi Chaugule reading from 'The Masala House'
Shalmi comes from India and for the last 18 years has called the Netherlands her home, which she shares with her husband and two kids. She just completed her first Level I workshop with the Collective this autumn. If not cooking, cleaning or chauffeuring, she can be found in her kitchen behind a laptop, lost in trying to write a story or watching Netflix.

Linda Cook reading 'Sunday Picnic'
Linda Cook is a British author who moved to Amsterdam in the 1980s and has worked as a freelance writer and editor for over 20 years. She has written a memoir and a book of children’s' stories. 'Sunday Picnic' began as an exercise in her second Level II workshop with the Collective.

Tasneem Hatimbhai reading 'Embers Fly'
Tasneem recently completed her second Level II course, where this poem began as an exercise, and she's looking forward to joining Level III for the winter 2019 term. She is originally from India and now lives in Amsterdam with her husband and their two children. She has been a writer and editor for the last 15 years. In 2012, she started her own company, Mumbai Mills, that sources and creates lifestyle products. She also publishes an annual agenda, 'The Mumbai Diary'.

Samantha Shorter reading 'The Bridge'
Samantha is originally from New Zealand and currently lives in Amsterdam. She just finished her second Level III course with the Collective, where she developed this story from an exercise.

Jo Matthews reading 'Getaway', 'My Big Brother' & 'Elegy in August'
Jo is originally from the UK and currently lives in Amsterdam, where she works as an independent copywriter. She just finished her third Level III course with the Collective and all three of these poems started as course exercises.

Kate Moeller reading from 'Fallow Ground'
Kate Moeller is originally from the US and lives in Amsterdam with her Dutch husband and two kids. She's a member of the Level IV workshop where she's been working on this story among others.

John Carnegie reading 2 poems & something much like a poem
John is a member of the International Writers' Collective Level IV workshop. Originally from Canada, he has lived in Amsterdam for many years (and before that in Paris) with his wife, the artist Julie Wyn Summerfield. He's currently the vice president for education in a company providing English-learning software solutions.

Rebecca Clyburn reading from 'The Weight of Light and Dark' (faculty)
Rebecca is a Canadian fiction writer living in Amsterdam with her husband and two children. She is interested in historical fiction and is currently writing about the miraculous events that occurred in a small coal-mining town at the turn of the century. After years of studying literature, she recently completed a master’s degree in English teaching at Utrecht University. She's been a teacher with the International Writers' Collective since spring 2018 and currently teaches the Level I Tuesday evening workshop.
