NOVEMBER 2020 WRITE-INS
In honour of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), we're holding a series of virtual write-ins. If you're finding it hard to make time for your writing, the communal support and accountability of a write-in can be just the thing. All you have to do is show up to our online meeting room and write.
Each session will be hosted by one of our teachers, who will be available for questions if you get stuck or need some writing advice or a short exercise to jump-start your progress.
Our community is international so our operating language is English, but you can, of course, write in whatever language you like. And you do not have to be participating in NaNoWriMo to join — all writers are welcome.
What the heck is NaNoWriMo?
Simply put, it's an annual challenge to write 50,000 words of a novel in a month, starting on the 1st of November and ending on the 30th. NaNoWriMo began over 20 years ago in the US and has evolved into a worldwide event, with hundreds of thousands of participants. You can find more information and register to take the challenge at NaNoWriMo.org (it's free!).
When are the write-ins?
Sundays, November 8, 15, 22 & 29, 10:00 - 13:00 Amsterdam time (UTC +1)
How do I join?
Please enter your email address below to receive the link & passcode the day before each session. You'll need to confirm your address so keep an eye out for an email from us once you submit your info.
Given the number of virtual meetings that have been disrupted by mischief-makers, we think this is the safest way to share the access credentials with you.
