Bio

John Carnegie is a writer of fiction and poetry from Toronto, Canada. He holds degrees in Medieval Studies (Waterloo) and Education (University of Toronto), and an almost-complete Masters in Religion & Culture – Classics (Wilfrid Laurier). His poems and short stories have appeared in the print and online journals Pure Slush, Paris Transcontinental, rue Scribe, and Quorum.

Formerly a high school English teacher, John is currently European VP of a global educational software company. He has worked in a wide range of fields such as roofer, taxi driver, sous-chef, book store manager, IT support person, all-night radio DJ.  John is currently working on the third draft of his first novel, which was conceived and written across a number of years of IWC courses.
