This communal writing evening is from 17:00 to 18:30 (with drinks to follow) at Boekhandel van Rossum, Beethovenstraat 32, 1077 JH Amsterdam.

Adding a dash of community spirit to your writing efforts can help get you to the page and make writing more fun. That’s why we host regular write-togethers. All you have to do is show up with your preferred writing implements and write. Maybe it’s just the motivation you need to jump-start progress on your story/poem/novel or get going on something new.

Not sure what you’d like to write? No problem. We’re happy to provide you with an exercise to get your imagination revving and your fingers tapping. So charge up your laptop and come on over.

We’ll provide tea, coffee and cookies to fuel your writing efforts, and there will be a well-deserved glass of wine or beer waiting for you when you’re done. If you’re on a roll, you can skip the social portion of the evening and keep writing till 19:30.

Come early to settle in – get a cup of tea or coffee and maybe an exercise; indulge in some chit-chat with fellow writers. Then at 17:00 it’s ready, set, write!
