Learn how to tell your personal story in a way that engages and inspires. This course will cover the following and more:

  • Finding the right narrative voice
  • Making your scenes come alive
  • Structuring your memoir
  • Finding an agent/publisher

Even if you’re not planning to write a book-length memoir, you’ll learn plenty of valuable tricks and tips to make your true stories shine.

This course is taught by Ellen Keith. Ellen holds a BA in history and creative writing from the University of Alberta and an MFA in creative writing from the University of British Columbia. Her historical novel The Dutch Wife won the HarperCollins/UBC Prize for Best New Fiction and reached #1 on the Globe & Mail Canadian Fiction Bestseller List and #12 on Publishers Weekly American bestsellers list.
