IWC student and author Liz Prieto will give a masterclass for us on Sunday, 12 June 2022 from 17:30 to 19:00 in Amsterdam at Boekhandel van Rossum (Beethovenstraat 32).

Note: If you are currently enrolled in one of our 6- or 8-week core courses, don’t forget to use your members’ discount code when you register to receive 25% off. You will have received it by email when you registered.

During this class, we will discuss Liz’s publishing journey from idea to book. Her debut is My Broken Conuco, a collection of linked short stories, which she initially self-published in English and then in Spanish before a Portuguese-language publisher picked it up. We’ll talk about the inspiration behind My Broken Conuco, as well as her writing process, and tips for self-publishing and author marketing. This masterclass will be moderated by Ellen Keith and will consist of an interview and Q&A session. There will be drinks and bites afterward.

We’re very proud of Liz’s achievement and hope you’ll join us in celebrating it!

My Broken Conuco is available for purchase in print and ebook formats here.
