This Level IV creative writing workshop runs from 18:30-21:00, 4 May – 6 July. The course meets online with a 2 to 2.5 hour live session (depending on the number of students) on Tuesdays from 18:30 Central European Time.
The Level IV workshop is designed to support writers in completing independent projects: story collections, poetry chapbooks or novels. During the term, you’ll have five opportunities to submit work for critique (up to 3000 words per submission, due the Saturday before class) and will receive written feedback as well as benefiting from the in-class discussion of your work. You’ll also have access to our exercise library.
Based on your availability and what you’re working on, you will be placed in one of two blocks to determine the dates your work will be critiqued. Block 1 will meet on alternative weeks to Block 2. Class size is 4 – 5 students per block. You have the option to attend all 10 classes.
At the end of each course, your instructor will provide individual recommendations on how to move forward, including publishing suggestions.
This course is open to writers who have completed Level III and by permission of the instructor. If you’re new to this course, please contact us before registering.
