I'm really excited to be a member of the International Writers' Collective and to start one of the courses. Although I have written fiction for most of my life, recently I've had a period with no writing at all, and I would like to use the course to get back into my writing and to develop new ideas for stories. I am a native Dutch speaker but have lived in Scotland for five years, and so I have started to write creatively in English rather than Dutch.
