Emanda has an MA in writing from Swinburne University, Australia. Her writing has been featured in Vine Leaves Literary Journal and Holstee, and was shortlisted for the Impress-prize in 2014. In 2019, she completed the International Writers' Collective teacher training programme in Amsterdam and previously taught for four years in Spain. She is currently working on a compilation of Icelandic memories in conjunction with a guerrilla literary work on display in East Iceland. After a life of travel and exploration, Emanda currently finds herself living in two places: an isolated Icelandic town and an isolated Australian island.
